Sentimental Journey Jazz and Swing Band

The Beacons Concert at GFUMC      6:00-9:00 P.M.

Sentimental Journey Jazz and Swing Band is a 19 piece group that features big band music of the mid-twentieth century swing era made popular by artists such as Glen Miller, Tommy and Jimmy Dorsey, Count Basie and many others. The band adds variety and interest to its performances by also playing some good-time rock-n-roll and country and western music. In addition to full standard instrumentation, the band features an outstanding female vocalist, Kari Martin.

The venue will be in the Methodist Activity Center (MAC) at GFUMC at 3:00 pm. The concert is free and will celebrate the Veterans of The United States of America.

Valentine Dance

Come to the Methodist Activity Center (MAC) at GFUMC to hear the sounds and dance to the rhythms of the Sentimental Journey Jazz and Swing Band.

Doors open at 6:00 pm for a "bring your dinner party." Tables of eight will be available on a first come, first served basis - get there early! Music starts at 7:00 pm and ends at 9:00pm. Free admission.

Spring Concert

GFUMC in the "MAC"  Methodist Activity Center

The music will include a wide variety of styles and selections which combines popular and light classical music to appeal to the musical interests of the widest audience possible. This is a free concert.
